BGP announcement

Connect via eBGP or secure tunnel overlay with AS213641 – low latency included.

Method 1

BGP on vServer / dedicated

Announce your IP prefixes directly from the server via native eBGP session. Direct backbone connectivity, minimal latency, and full control over your routes.

  • Dedicated eBGP session
  • Full table or default route
  • IPv4 & IPv6 dual-stack
  • Looking glass & route monitoring

    neighbor PEER_IP activate
Method 2

BGP via GRE / VXLAN

Extend your network via GRE or VXLAN tunnel. Multi-hop BGP over a secure overlay – ideal for remote or multi-data-center infrastructures.

  • GRE, GREtap, or VXLAN
  • BGP multi-hop (up to TTL 255)
  • Compatible with any provider
  • Secure tunnel overlay

What is BGP – and why does it matter?

The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is the fundamental routing protocol of the internet. Organizations with their own ASN can announce IP prefixes globally and control how traffic reaches your infrastructure.

With our BGP service (AS213641), you establish eBGP sessions, receive a full routing table or default route, and can steer prefixes with custom BGP communities for granular traffic engineering.

GRE & VXLAN: BGP everywhere

You don't need a server in our data center. With GRE or VXLAN, you build a secure Layer 3 overlay to our infrastructure – multi-hop BGP from any location worldwide.

Prepaid Host

Pay upfront – transparent, with no subscription trap.

  • No automatic direct debit
  • Ends automatically without renewal
  • Email reminder before expiry

You pay for your plan upfront for the term you choose (e.g. 30 days). There is no automatic direct debit: if the period expires without renewal, the service ends – no separate cancellation is required.

The service ends when the already paid period expires. Your data is not kept running indefinitely after expiry. If you renew in time, service continues without interruption through a new upfront payment.

Yes. You receive email reminders before your prepaid period expires – so you can pay for the next period in the customer area in good time.

BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) is the central routing protocol of the internet. With your own ASN you can announce IP prefixes globally and control how traffic reaches your infrastructure.

For your own eBGP session you typically need an ASN and routable prefixes (e.g. from RIPE). We support you with the technical connection – RIR registration is handled through the respective Regional Internet Registry.

Yes. Using GRE or VXLAN, you can build a tunnel overlay to our network (AS213641) and run multi-hop BGP from your location.

Select a BGP product in the shop and complete your order. We then set up peer IP, ASN, and prefix approvals together with you.

BGP configuration is performed manually by our network team. Depending on scope (session, prefixes, tunnel), setup can take up to 24 hours.

Your traffic is measured every 5 minutes. The top 5% of values are ignored – you are billed based on the highest remaining value. Occasional spikes do not affect your monthly bill.
